Meet the judges

It has been nothing but a sheer pleasure reading and viewing all the amazing entries that have poured in for the #IAmNigeria creative competition

Now the judges are hard at work trying to determine the winners. No matter the outcome, everyone who believes in Nigeria despite our horde of challenges is a winner.

 

 

 

 

Dr Adebola Adisa is a GP and Author.

She is the founder of Brave Hearts, a charity which supports her community.

She is a school governor, STEM Ambassador and Black Women in Health (BWIH) executive.

She has authored 5 other books; The Magic of Destiny, #Beinspired, Kaleidoscopes, How to Write Your Book 101 and a children’s book, Dr Facts Continents of the World.

She stays active through gardening and enjoys spending time with her family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emmanuel Onimisi is a creative writer, artist, graphic designer and environmental researcher. He writes poetry and speculative fiction and is the author of Portal and the curious case of Doctor Maundy.

He loves music, stories, comics and the simplification of complexities in illustration.

Dr. Oluwaseyi Adebola is the author of ‘A cluster of Petals’, a collection of short stories shortlisted for the 2019 Quramo Writers prize and the 2019 AFIRE Linda Ikeji prize for literature. His short story, ‘The Mysterious Matter of Mallam Musa’s Missing Murano’ was also first place in the @itanilemag Cfwriterz June 2018 prize.

He had his medical training in University of Ilorin and has a master’s degree in translational neuropathology from the Sheffield Institute of Translational Neuroscience. He currently works as a junior doctor in neurosurgery in Sheffield.
